Myanmar Now Ltd is seeking a motivated and innovative individual to join our team as a Digital Specialist who will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our news products by implementing effective subscription/membership strategies, executing digital marketing campaigns, and contributing fresh ideas to enhance our offerings. A background in digital marketing or product development is welcome.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement subscription/membership strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise and execute strategies to acquire, retain, and engage subscribers/members.
· Execute digital marketing campaigns: Plan, create, and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, search engine marketing, and display advertising.
· Drive subscriber acquisition and retention: Employ data-driven tactics to attract new subscribers and encourage existing subscribers to renew their subscriptions. Utilize audience segmentation, personalized messaging, and targeted promotions to optimize subscriber acquisition and retention rates.
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor strategies. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and develop insights into audience preferences and behaviors.
· Analyze and report: Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze key metrics related to subscription growth, customer engagement, and campaign performance. Generate regular reports and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
· Managing and monitoring the development and execution of all digital projects including project planning, action planning and administration
· Trouble shooting digital problems, identifying best practices and lessons learned, and analyzing M & E data
· Preparing annual digital activity plans and producing regular internal program updates on all digital activities.
Qualifications:
· Experience in digital marketing or product/project development or social media communication.
· Strong understanding of subscription models, customer lifecycle, and retention strategies.
· Proficiency in digital marketing channels and tools, such as social media platforms, email marketing platforms, Google Analytics, and advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager).
· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations.
· Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in managing WordPress sites, including familiarity with its
ecosystem and ability to troubleshoot common issues.
• Experience in digital product development, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Basic understanding of email marketing tools and strategies,
with the ability to execute email campaigns that drive results.
• Competency in using analytics tools to create reports and derive actionable insights.
• Problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach to overcoming challenges.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectively across different departments.
