
Junta aerial assaults killed one woman and injured three others in resistance-held Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, on Sunday, according to local sources.The airstrikes targeted Chay Sin, a village located less than seven miles southwest of the township’s junta-controlled administrative centre, the sources said. A 23-year-old woman was killed instantly, while three other women, including a pregnant woman, sustained serious leg injuries.“Two of the injured women are in critical condition. One has sought medical attention in Mandalay,” a local resident told Myanmar Now on Monday.
The victims were working in a cowshed when the warplane dropped three bombs near the southern edge of the village.
